Services

Dog Walk - 60 min Package (5x 60 min walks)

1 hr··$310

A full 60-minute walk for dogs needing a deeper physical and mental workout. Includes structured loose-lead walking, exposure to varied environments, and engagement games to keep your dog focused, fulfilled, and settled when they return home.

Bookings & Scheduling
-Walks must be booked in advance.
-Package holders may pre-book recurring weekly slots or schedule flexibly depending on availability.

Cancellation Policy
-Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the booked walk will incur 100% of the session fee.
-Changes made outside 48 hours incur no fee.

Weather & Safety
-In extreme heat, storms, or unsafe conditions, walks may be modified for the dog’s wellbeing.
-If conditions make the walk unsafe, CST may reschedule the session at no cost.

Access Requirements
-Owners must ensure safe access to the dog (key code, lockbox, or someone home).
-If the trainer arrives and cannot access the dog, the session is charged in full.

Behaviour & Equipment
-Dogs must have a secure collar/harness and be safe to handle on lead.
-If severe behavioural issues are identified, the session may be paused and shifted to a behaviour-training program for the dog’s safety.

We first started with Canine Specialist Training in their herding program, which was not only incredibly fun but also a fantastic way to channel my dog’s instincts. Herding training has recently closed but lucky for us CST offers other unique services so we’ve moved into scent detection training, and it has been absolutely amazing. It’s stimulating, fulfilling, and such a rewarding activity for my dog — he lights up every time we arrive!

Shayne is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping dogs and their owners succeed. He provides thoughtful, well-structured challenges that are perfect for dogs who need mental engagement, especially working breed dogs like my GSD.

A true professional dog trainer, Shayne is a great communicator yet has a kind, empathetic connection with both dogs and owners. I’ve done a few sessions with him and his training techniques cut through way more than other trainers I’ve been to. Highly recommend.

Shane is amazing, he genuinely cares and goes above and beyond for you and your dog. Myself and my dog have been training with him for the past few years, doing obedience, herding and scent detection. He makes the sessions really fun for myself and my dog and my dog bindi gets so exited every-time she sees him because she knows she’s in for a good time. Shane has awesome advise for you and your dog, he really opened my eyes on how to understand my dog and how to happily live with her. I would highly recommend Shane for any dog! ☺️

If you are thinking about doing Scent work with your dog look no further. Shayne is not only so knowledgeable but super passionate and willing to give you all the information.

Great trainer, works well with dogs. Had a board and trained back when my GSD was younger and now she goes to him for herding classes. Highly recommended!
